The Goodwin Family is ready for cookie decorating!

Melting Snowman Cookies are so cute! They are a great family Christmas cookie decorating activity. These cookies are a snap to make using store bought, or “slice and bake” sugar cookies and store bought white cookie icing!

Melting Snowman Cookies
12 baked sugar cookies
6 marshmallows cut in half at an angle
White cookie Icing, for melting snow
Black cookie icing, for eyes and smile
12 orange sprinkles, for noses
24 mini M&M’s for buttons
Chocolate sprinkles, for arms and fingers

Spread White cookie icing on sugar cookies to look like the snowman is melting. Decorate marshmallows with black cookie icing to make dots for eyes and a smile. Insert an orange jimmy into the marshmallow for a nose. Place marshmallow on cookie icing. To secure the marshmallow to the icing; add more icing around the marshmallow where it comes into contact with the icing. 

Place  2 to 3 mini M&M’s on cookie icing for buttons. For snowman arms place 2-3 chocolate sprinkles in a line. Add 2 more chocolate sprinkles at an angle for fingers. Makes 12 cookies. Happy baking!
