Ham and Swiss Cheese Party Rolls

Ham and Swiss Cheese Party Rolls

One (12 count) package dinner rolls (I use Sara Lee Artsano bakery rolls)
8 ounces smoked deli ham
6 slices baby swiss cheese
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 tablespoon poppy seeds
3/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Grey Poupon mustard
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Pinch of kosher salt

Line a 9 X 13-inch glass baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Remove rolls from packaging. Slice rolls in one piece horizontally. Remove tops (in one piece) and set aside. Place roll bottoms in baking dish. Layer ham and cheese slices on bottom of rolls. Replace roll tops.

Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, onion powder, and salt. Stir. Brush mixture on top of rolls with a silicone pastry brush. Cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes or until heated through and cheese melts.

To serve: Cut into individual rolls with a knife. Rolls are good hot or at room temperature. Rolls can be made in advance and refrigerated until ready to bake. If refrigerated, add additional baking time, cook until rolls are hot. Leftover rolls can be stored in the refrigerator and re-heated in the microwave. Enjoy, friends!
