Sausage Gravy Biscuits

marydukecooks.com

Everyone loves sausage gravy biscuits. My kids can eat their weight in them. You won’t believe how easy it is to make. There are only 3 ingredients and it tastes like you went to Hardees or McDonalds. The best part is you don’t have to get dressed. You can make this in your PJ’s!

Sausage Gravy Biscuits

6 Frozen Biscuits (I like Pillsbury Southern Style)
1/2 pound sausage (I use Jimmy Dean Regular)
1 package biscuit gravy mix (I use Pioneer brand)

In a skillet on medium high heat, cook sausage until brown and no longer pink; breaking up sausage as it cooks with a wooden spoon. Reserve sausage and grease. Preheat oven and bake biscuits according to package directions. Make biscuit gravy according to package directions. Add reserved sausage to gravy and stir. Serve over hot biscuits. Tip: To save time in the morning, cook sausage the night before. Reheat sausage in microwave before adding to gravy. Makes 6 biscuits. Enjoy!
