Sausage Balls

Sausage Balls
Sausage Balls are great for breakfast, brunch or just about any time of day! I store bags of them in the freezer and my kids wipe them out when they come home.

Sausage Balls– makes 85 balls

1 and 1/2 pounds hot sausage
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 cups biscuit and pancake mix (I used Bisquick)
1/4 cup milk

Let sausage sit on the kitchen counter for 30 minutes so it is not cold and stiff. Mix raw sausage, cheddar cheese, biscuit mix, and milk together with your hands or a mixer. Scoop balls using a 1 tablespoon scoop.

To cook immediately: Place balls on a rimmed baking sheet with space in between each ball. Bake 350 F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. To freeze and cook later: Place individual balls on a rimmed baking sheet and place in freezer. When frozen, place sausage balls in a 1-gallon Zip-top bag. Store in freezer for up to 1 month. To bake frozen sausage balls: Bake 350 F for 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
