Orange Strawberry Salad

Orange Strawberry Salad

Sometimes the simplest recipes taste the best.
When planning menus every item can’t be difficult to make and take a lot of time.
This is the easiest salad you will ever make!
You can have it on your table in less than 10 minutes and it is so pretty.
In the dead of winter when fresh vegetables are scarce,
I use fruit to make our meals colorful and interesting.

Orange Strawberry Salad

5 navel oranges
5 fresh strawberries
1 rounded tablespoon orange marmalade
1 tablespoon fresh navel orange juice

Peel navel oranges and slice crosswise into ¼ inch rounds.
Plate orange slices on a rectangular plate in a single row.
Slice strawberries in half.
Place strawberry halves decoratively beside orange slices.
In a small bowl squeeze 1 tablespoon orange juice from leftover peels.
Add juice to orange marmalade and stir to combine.
Spoon sauce on top of the oranges. Enjoy!
